Weigh-In Post.

WEIGH INS! 

if you don't own a scale. try to take measurements. if you can?? measuring tape will work fine.

people were making the weigh-in days complicated. so just hand in your weigh-ins at least once a week. if i don't get one from you that week- i'll delete you from the contest. unless there was an emergency or a real reason as to why you couldn't hand it in that week.

if i do not post a weekly assignment- there is none. so that means there was none yet. the first weekly assignment will be due next saturday- the saturday coming up- NOT TODAY. i will post up the weekly assignments EVERY SUNDAY.

1) name.

2) starting weight.

3) current weight.

4) group.

5) did you do the weekly assignment?

6) # of days fasted. {unless your group doesn't require it}

7) # of minutes/hours of exercise. {unless your group doesn't require it}

8) goal weight to be reached by the end of the new week.

i know that not all your questions are answered. i myself live in france- and i have a very different time zone than you do in the U.S. so i will solve all time zone related questions after i post up the official groups.

you don't start dieting until tomorrow. it started today- on saturday- so that you can get settled into your groups, and i would have time to plan!! you can start dieting today, but none of it would count. the reason the contest ends june 9th is because i'm going out of the country june 10th, and i wouldn't be here to be online!! the contest will start up again after june 10th. so those who did not get in this time- you will have another opportunity!! don't worry!! diets and regimen start counting tomorrow. good luck everyone! and get to know everyone in your groups!!

i will answer all your questions personally, after i update you all on your official groups. people have given me a few requests, and i would like you all to vote on what you think. i'll post up the requests after i post up your official groups. i hope you're all as excited as i am!! the following will first be the person's name and then their xanga, following with their starting weight. thanks.

you are required to fast at least four days a week. you can drink whatever you want on these days that you fast. and on the days that you do eat- no more than 500 calories!! the calories you do eat- make sure they are healthy and not junk food such as doritos or cake. unless a birthday is coming up- no cake whatsoever as far as this group is concerned. no exercise is involved in this group- because we're going to be fasting most of the time. in your weigh-in tell me which days you fasted, and how many days. 4 days are necessary for full credit!! any ideas or questions for this group? contact me on my personal xanga site:

you are required to exercise an hour a day. anything past that is extra credit. no fasting is involved in this- unless you want to. which is also extra credit. keep hydrated and make sure you don't over exert yourself!! i want you to stay healthy- just as much as i want to see you lose weight. make sure you don't get de-hydrated. i don't care if you drink water- or gatorade. as long as you're hydrating yourself with SOMETHING. eat healthy too!! any other ideas for this group? any questions? contact me on my personal xanga site:

REMEMBER THE RULES!!! first off. you must exercise for at least 30 minutes a day. if you must- do sit ups for 30 minutes, stretch, do jumping jacks or yoga- i don't care. as long as you get it!! you must fast at least 3 days a week. this is all the required stuff that you agreed to when you signed up! make sure to stay extra hydrated when you're working out, and don't over work yourself when you're fasting. i don't care what days you fast. just tell me if you did, and what days- in your weigh-ins. okay? and give me your hours of total exercise- if you completed the 30 minutes everyday. any other ideas for this group or questions?? contact me on my personal xanga site:

[[the rules for you guys!! okay. one- only healthy foods. which means no fast food because that's anything but good for you!!! two- lots of fruits and veggies. make most of your meals consist of salads (i don't care what kind, fruit salad- potato salad, whatever- i'll be posting up recipes for you too!!). no white bread- go wheat bread, unless it is completley out of reach for you. maximum calories- 1,200. protein bars and diet shakes (such as slimfast, etc) are all okay. make sure to stay hydrated. =] any other ideas? contact me on my personal site:

no fasting is required in this group!! you count your calories. first day is 200, then 400, then 600, then 800, and then you start over again!! exercise is only required unless you want it to be. i already personalized it for a few people who wanted it differently- and just tell me if you did your personal count in your weigh-in. it is much appreciated that you do. make sure to eat only healthy foods. nothing junky. because then there's no real reason for doing a diet in the first place. if you have any ideas or questions about this group- contact me on my personal xanga site:

DIFFERENT TIME ZONE!?

the solution is quite simple, actually. i was trying to think of what to do- and just stay a day behind. since today, in the U.S. it is may 5th, and maybe in your time zone, it is may 6th. keep it may 5th, okay? it just works easier. and try to go by U.S. time. because most people in the contest are from the U.S. i do this, myself- and it's not that hard- until it's time to hand things in and such. to look up the time zone in america, get onto google and google it. you'll find it, trust me. if this is too hard for you, contact me on my personal site which is:

WHAT THE HECK ARE WEEKLY ASSIGNMENTS!?

weekly assignments are assignments or extra challenges that i assign you every week!! all groups have the same weekly assignment- because some groups are bigger than others and that would be giving unfair advantage.

you do NOT have to do the weekly assignments, because they are not required. it's more for you who want a little bit of an extra challenge in this contest. here is an example of a weekly assignment:

that's not an actual example that i am going to use- but i just want you to understand what it basically is. =]

you hand in your weekly assignments at the end of the week!! if you didn't do it, then don't worry about it. you don't have to hand in anything but your weigh-in. and you hand in your weigh-ins on the days you have chosen.

WHERE DO YOU HAND IN YOUR WEIGH-INS!?

you hand in your weigh-ins on this site!! i will post up a weigh-in form after the registration ends. it will be easy to find and you will be required to update it the days that you have chosen. the weigh-in will require your starting weight and the weight that you are the day you hand it in.

you will be graded for how much weight you lose!! everyone wanted this contest to be a little bit more challenging- so i decided to grade you on your weight loss. there will be rankings. but if you don't want to participate in the rankings- tell me. otherwise i will post the rankings and you will be included in them. and by rankings i mean.

WHAT IS THIS CONTEST ALL ABOUT ANYWAY!?

this contest is about helping people with ED's or people who just want to lose weight- so that they do lose it. and they eventually find beauty within themselves- by feeling beautiful on the outside first. i am going to post thinspo on this site almost everyday- along with interesting tips- and other helpful things to keep you motivated and preoccupied.

everyone does need to supporte their group-mates; it's preferred that you do. it really helps everyone out and it brigtens up their day a little bit. please help your team-mates!!! otherwise, there's no point in belonging to a group, really.

most people are asking me. is there a challenge in this, or is this just for supporte? it's both. there WILL be rankings. like i said above. if you do not want to be ranked. tell me ahead of time- otherwise you WILL be included!!! this doesn't mean push yourself so hard that you fall over. it's just a fun thing- a little challenge- so it will keep you from straying from your goal.
